And so the stage is set for Sophocles’ classic tragedy of Antigone: devoted daughter, loving sister, princess, carer, believer, extremist. She is about to spoil the party for her uncle Creon, father, husband, lawmaker, protector, king. It’s an ancient story about the war between individual and state, law and conscience, heart and head.
Join Splendid’s trio of clowns as they present a deceptively joyful tragedy that puts the audience centre-stage. Who would you die for? Who has power over you? And what will you do with your ten seconds of freedom?

The video is available to stream from this website as either a 30-day or 1-year time-limited rental. An internet connection is required, and the video is compatible with all browser-based devices. We do not share private data – for full details see our privacy policy.
DVDs
1-year rentals include the option to be sent a DVD (you can make this choice during checkout), and we also offer the 1yr Streaming Super Pack which includes the optional DVD, plus hard copy of the script and both digital and physical versions of the Education Pack that accompanied the original tour.

This email will be sent automatically when payment is made, so choose the credit/debit card or Paypal options for instant access. If you want to pay by PO/invoice you can choose the ‘pay with invoice’ option, but the coupon will only be sent to your requested email address once payment has been received, which may take some time.
APPLYING THE COUPON
The coupon will be sent to the email address specified. Click on the coupon and your browser will automatically open the streaming video page and apply the voucher, reducing the price of the ‘purchase’ to £0.00. You will then go through the checkout process once more to apply the coupon.
