Splendid Shop: How to order and pay
Prices: all prices include applicable taxes and shipping worldwide – the price shown is the price you pay wherever in the world you’re ordering from… except where there are discounts. Here’s the full popup price list.
Discounts: where you see the exclamation symbol this means there are discounts available for this product. Click the icon for full details, but all discounts are automatically applied when you check out, whether you were expecting them or not.
Delivery: We aim to dispatch all orders within 5 working days, and will confirm shipping by email. We are based in the UK so shipping times for non-UK orders will vary.
How to order: add products to your shopping basket wherever you see ‘add to basket’ or ‘add to cart’ buttons, and use the ever-present shopping cart button in the header to view or amend your order. Alternatively you can use our printable order form for offline orders (see below).
International Orders: Splendid Shop sends physical products anywhere in the world. All prices shown include applicable taxes and shipping worldwide with no hidden extras. For international customers we prefer payment in advance and recommend Paypal/credit card payments – please note if you are ordering internationally and choose the ‘pay by invoice’ option we may require payment before shipping orders.
How to pay: you can either pay online instantly by credit/debit card/Paypal, OR we can raise an invoice and send it with your order.
You can choose your payment method during checkout:
Pay with credit or debit card
This is the default payment option on the checkout page, and our preferred payment method for individual and international customers. Choose this option to make an immediate online payment using a credit or debit card.
Pay via Paypal
Choose this option to make an immediate online payment using a PayPal account.
When you choose this option it brings up the PayPal checkout button which will take you to the PayPal login page (you also have the option of checking out as a guest without an account).
Pay with invoice
If you are a school or institution you can choose this option on the checkout page. We will then issue an invoice for payment by bank transfer or cheque and send it with your order.
Please note: where international customers, individuals, and orders from new institutions choose this option we may require payment in advance. We will confirm this by email when we process your order.
Some products such as Splendid Streaming videos are only available to buy in advance by Paypal. If any of these items are in your shopping cart the ‘Pay by invoice’ option is removed for the whole order. If you wish to pay by invoice you can replace these products with the alternative ‘buy access code’ options on the product pages, or buy the instant streaming video via Paypal in a separate order.
Printable order form
If you need to submit orders via your Finance Department or purchasing system you can use our printable order form.
The form is in a fillable PDF format that can be completed online and saved locally for printing or emailing, or you can print and complete by hand.
Purchase Orders: if you would like a Purchase Order number quoted on your invoice, please add this in the ‘PO Number / Your reference’ field in the checkout screen.
My account: during the checkout process you will be required to create an account. This account will give you access to online content such as streaming video rental, and stores your address for speedy checkout on future purchases. You can set your own username and password during checkout, which may be useful if you are a Finance person ordering on behalf of someone else.
Checkout: by default we deliver to the billing address, but you can specify an alternative delivery address during checkout, along with additional names and email addresses for order recipients.
